Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – LTAC
Phoenix, AZ Night Shift | 3x12s | 13 WeeksHumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced LTAC RN for a night shift travel contract in Phoenix. In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering quality patient care and providing supervision to LPNs, CNAs, and new staff while promoting a safe and supportive environment.
Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission
Develop and implement individualized care plans
Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences and weekly re-evaluations
Ensure timely and accurate documentation of all patient care activities
Lead direct patient care efforts using the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, evaluate
Promote patient and staff safety in handling, infection control, fall prevention, and more
Supervise, train, and delegate appropriately to support staff
Maintain clear communication with physicians, managers, and team members
Monitor supply use and promote cost-effective care delivery
Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed
Participate in team-building and professional development initiatives
Active RN license (AZ or compact)
BLS required (ACLS preferred)
1+ year of acute or LTAC experience strongly preferred
Ability to manage time and care priorities effectively
Strong communication and critical-thinking skills
Shift: Nights (3x12s)
Duration: 13 weeks
Setting: Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC)
