Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and determine corrective action
Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment
Perform basic welding activities for repairs
Troubleshoot and repair Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s)
Perform and assign all preventive maintenance
Manage and assign all equipment maintenance
Oversee maintenance related regulatory and environmental compliance
Monitor training status of technicians and provide time for required training
Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System
Partner with the Production Manager to manage budget for maintenance
Required Qualifications
High school diploma and/or GED preferred
Valid driver's license and a safe driving record
Minimum of 3 years of work experience repairing industrial processing equipment
Knowledgeable in maintenance equipment including wiring, electrical, mechanical components, pipe systems and plumbing
Ability to read blueprints and schematics
Proficiency in Microsoft Office skills
Experience in Hand & Power tools
Lockout / Tagout experience
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
Two-year technical degree in an appropriate background
Minimum of 2 years of experience supervising maintenance personnel
Maintenance administration experience including planning, scheduling, budgeting, parts management
Ability to read and understand maintenance literature printed in English
