Key Responsibilities
Operate MRI equipment to produce clinical diagnostic images
Prepare patients and adjust equipment for MRI procedures
Perform MRI procedures according to established standards
Assist with staff/student training and orientation
Maintain records required by the Radiology Department and other regulatory bodies
Consult with radiologists and other healthcare personnel regarding exams
Required Qualifications
Associate's degree or equivalent from a 2-year college or technical school
Radiography (R) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) upon hire
Less than 1 year of experience in radiologic and MRI terminology, practices, and procedures
Preferred Qualifications
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) upon hire
1-3 years of training/experience in MRI
