Job Description
Join a small community hospital as an Outpatient Physical Therapist where your voice is valued. You'll provide essential patient care and contribute to innovative practices that enhance employee engagement and patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluates patients and establishes individualized treatment goals
Conducts therapeutic exercises and administers physical agents
Educates patients and families on home exercise programs
Documents patient care in accordance with insurance guidelines
Communicates with referring physicians regarding patient care
Supervises affiliated students and participates in educational programs
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited program of Physical Therapy with a minimum of a B.S.
Current Connecticut license in Physical Therapy
Advanced specialty practice in the evaluation and treatment of pelvic floor diagnoses
Preferred Qualifications
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficiency in Windows-based programs
Basic skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
