Key Responsibilities
Provide speech language pathology diagnostic and treatment services
Act as a communication and dysphagia specialist for clinical teams
Ensure individual assessment and participation with goal identification and treatment planning
Complete documentation of treatment notes, progress reports, and other required evaluations
Monitor individuals’ progress and maintain accurate treatment records
Participate in interdisciplinary team for goal development and service coordination
Provide education and training to staff and families on speech and language activities
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech/Language Pathology from an accredited program
Active licensure in Michigan
ASHA Certification of Clinical Competency in Speech-Language Pathology or currently completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
Ability to work with consumers having special needs due to neurological disability/TBI
Ability to design, implement, update and document consumer treatment programs
