Join Primary Vascular Care as a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner, where you'll conduct clinical assessments and develop treatment plans for residents in long-term care settings. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient care while working independently in a mobile practice environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform on-site clinical assessments to determine appropriate patient treatment plans
Function independently to perform history and physical for complex acute and chronically ill patients
Order and review diagnostic and therapeutic tests
Assist with care provision in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
Monitor the effectiveness of interventions
Maintain relationships with facility contacts
Educate families and clients about services
Assist with physician relations development
Complete reports in a timely manner
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
Current NP License
BLS - Basic Life Support certification
Current Infection Control Certification
Board Certified/Board Eligible
Physical, Vaccines and Titers: PPD/TB, Hep B, MMR, Varicella
Preferred Qualifications
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
