Job Description

Join Disney Live Entertainment as an Entertainment Event Specialist, where you'll play a key role in managing character events, ensuring seamless execution while upholding brand integrity. Collaborate with a diverse team to create magical experiences for guests at Disney theme parks and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and processing requests for all Character Special Events and mini-production events
  • Facilitate arrangements for requests considering Brand and Usage Guidelines, Cast needs, Guest expectations, and Client business objectives
  • Provide timely follow-up and thorough tracking of requests using Microsoft Office tools
  • Respond to e-mails and incoming calls within the same day or within 24 hours
  • Create budget estimates for projects and events
  • Initiate schedule requests to the Labor Team
  • Make informed decisions within the scope of the role

Required Qualifications

  • Expertise in Character Use Guidelines and Department Operations
  • Strong understanding of Character Brand integrity and collective bargaining agreements
  • Knowledge of the Character STCU agreement
  • Experience with budgeting and financial accuracy
  • Proven ability to manage schedules and resources effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, Jira, Smartsheet, and SharePoint
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional phone etiquette
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with Cast Members and Clients at all levels
  • Capacity to handle confidential information responsibly
  • Adaptability to work in an office environment and a flexible schedule, including overtime when needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years' Walt Disney World Resort Character Department experience
  • Knowledge of Walt Disney World property and property-wide Entertainment offerings
  • Administrative experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of eR2, SAP, and EISS
