The Janitorial Project Manager oversees daily operations and administrative activities, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and service standards. This role involves managing inspections, quality control, and inventory while maintaining strong client relations and employee supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Develop work plans to provide services in a timely, cost-effective manner
Provide customer with information regarding additional services
Respond to customer inquiries and resolve complaints
Maintain regular contact with customers to ensure service contract fulfillment
Identify potential issues and recommend actions to the Project Manager
Increase billable services and add value to the customer
Work closely with frontline personnel to meet customer requirements
Recommend staffing levels and work with HR to hire and evaluate staff
Enforce policies and procedures through mentoring and coaching
Required Qualifications
1-2 years of Supervisor experience
1-2 years of customer service experience
Working knowledge of janitorial equipment
Working knowledge of OSHA required processes
Intermediate level of Microsoft programs
Valid State Driver's License for business travel
Excellent personal organization skills and exceptional planning skills
Excellent follow-up and an eye for detail
Flexibility to respond to urgent client requests on evenings and weekends
Technical savvy and ability to use MS Office Suite, Smart Phones, Internet and other job-related applications
Excellent verbal and written business communication skills
Excellent relational skills and experience dealing with union environment
Understanding of the service industry practices, process and trends
