Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the design, architecture, and development of simulation models and frameworks
Partner with stakeholders to identify simulation requirements
Conduct validation and verification of simulation software code and models
Maintain documentation of technical code and simulation models
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate simulation software
Implement current and emerging technologies within the simulation environment
Assist in simulation software project management functions
Participate in design and implementation peer reviews
Promote continuous improvement by proposing process enhancements
Support proposal development and lead engineering execution
Mentor junior engineers
Required Qualifications
1+ years of experience with Software Development lifecycle
1+ years of experience in Object-Oriented Development
Preferred Qualifications
3 or more years’ related work experience
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
1+ years of experience with software development in Agile methodology
Experience with modeling and simulation tools
Experience in developing or integrating simulation software for military, commercial, or space applications
Experience with simulation data management and analysis techniques
Experience with creating and managing simulation scenarios
Experience with aircraft platforms, aviation, simulation, and training systems
Knowledge of simulation validation and verification processes
Experience with agile workflow tools such as Gitlab
Experience working in a collaborative team environment
