Job Description
Join the AI/ML Amazon Dedicated Cloud team as an ADC Engineer III, where you'll work on innovative AI/ML solutions for government customers in isolated cloud environments. This role offers the opportunity to solve complex technical challenges while collaborating with a dynamic team in a supportive and inclusive culture.
Key Responsibilities
Support service builds and operations in ADC partitions and regions
Solve difficult technical problems and seek direction when needed
Understand architectures and dependencies for supported services
Create documentation related to ADC operations
Identify and investigate systemic patterns in ADC implementations
Communicate clearly with customers and partner teams
Influence technical project definition and prioritization discussions
Participate in mentoring efforts for other ADC Engineers
Required Qualifications
3+ years of systems administration experience (Linux/Windows)
Experience working with scripting languages
Excellent communication skills
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
Preferred Qualifications
Experience creating and improving documentation, runbooks, automation for ops
Familiarity with ADC security policies, information handling, and compliance standards
Background mentoring/training other engineers on technical topics
Expertise in one or more AWS service areas (e.g., AI/ML, databases, containers)
Proficiency in scripting/coding for automation and operational tasks
