Position Summary: Maria Parham Health is seeking a skilled and adaptable Travel RN to join its Emergency Department team for night shift coverage. This role is ideal for a nurse who excels in fast-paced environments and is committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients experiencing acute medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct patient care in the Emergency Room, including triage, assessment, treatment, and stabilization
  • Administer medications and monitor patient responses
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
  • Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and promptly
  • Respond to emergency situations and participate in code response
  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state eligibility
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of recent experience in emergency nursing
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS and TNCC preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
