Job Description
Join Amazon's Project Kuiper as a Senior Electrical Engineering Systems Integration Engineer, where you'll lead the design and deployment of innovative launch vehicle and ground support systems. Collaborate with top engineers to solve complex challenges and positively impact global connectivity.
Key Responsibilities
Develop/specify launch vehicle integration solutions for various launch providers
Design electrical ground support equipment for Kuiper satellites
Develop qualification plans to validate launch vehicle and ground system integration hardware and software
Support occasional travel to launch sites and external vendors
Coordinate with internal customers to support production and launch campaigns
Lead and participate in system design and qualification reviews
Provide inputs and/or review procedures for integration and testing
Serve as a technical role model and instill best practices
Required Qualifications
BS degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
7+ years in hardware development and/or hardware testing
Experience in specification and development of electrical systems support hardware
Proficiency designing and interpreting electrical schematics
Experience in electrical power delivery and supporting harnessing
Experience with network communication protocols
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in payload launch vehicle integration
Experience in satellite/spacecraft assembly, processing, and integration
Experience in development and/or deployment of electrical ground support equipment
Experience with development of hardware in loop testing for automotive and/or aerospace systems
Experience writing scripts in at least one language (Bash, Python, Ruby, etc.)
Experience in a development or testing role across full product life cycle in Consumer or Industrial Electronics
