Key Responsibilities

  • Develop pseudo-code architectures and write FPGA code for SDR software and firmware
  • Define RF system requirements and derive RF component specifications
  • Prepare and present design reviews for customers
  • Support integration and testing, including unit-level and spacecraft level testing
  • Design and analyze communications systems for satellite and interplanetary applications

Required Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related field with 5 years of experience, or Master's with 3 years of experience
  • Good oral presentation skills and comfort with customer interaction
  • Experience with FPGA chipsets such as XilinX Versal, ProASIC, RTAX, RTG4, Ultrascale, Ultrascale+
  • FPGA design and development for SDRs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with analog design of circuits
  • Experience with RF circuit card design of software defined Radios
  • Channelization/digital processor design
  • Communications Digital Signal Processing/waveform development
  • Experience leading small engineering teams
  • Hands-on experience with RF test equipment
