Job Description
Join Raytheon as a Principal RF Engineer, where you will lead RF architecture and troubleshooting within HWIL facilities. This role offers the opportunity to work on critical defense technologies that ensure national security while collaborating with a dedicated team of engineers.
Key Responsibilities
Lead RF architecture trades and design activities for developmental programs
Perform RF system calibration activities within HWIL facilities
Lead RF troubleshooting and failure investigations
Assist in generating requirements and verification plans for RF systems
Work in a team environment supporting the full lifecycle of system development
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
Experience with RF electronics design and/or RF antennas
Active and transferrable US government issued Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of calibration/characterization of RF signal generation systems
Strong organization, coordination, planning, and communication skills
Existing Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) clearance
Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
Experience with programming languages such as Java, C, C++
Experience troubleshooting systems with test equipment
