Join Disneyland Resort as a Mechanical Engineer and contribute to creating unforgettable experiences. You'll be responsible for field engineering support, planning and leading troubleshooting efforts for ride and show systems, and enhancing system reliability while working in a dynamic team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate technical and management aspects of Sustaining Engineering projects
Communicate work status and impact on Resort availability
Perform ride element performance analysis
Assist in resolving technical conflicts in design/drawing packages
Make engineering recommendations for operational and mechanical problems
Produce engineering design, change, repair, and disposition documents
Ensure successful completion of Sustaining Engineering projects
Required Qualifications
Ability to balance multiple projects/assignments concurrently
Able to communicate technical concepts in writing
Ability to communicate sophisticated issues to non-technical peers and management
Strong interpersonal and team-building abilities
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
SolidWorks and AutoCAD experience
Preferred Qualifications
Material properties experience in design
Understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics
Systems reliability knowledge
