Job Description
Join Raytheon as a Principal RF Engineer where you will leverage your expertise in RF systems to lead design activities and troubleshooting efforts. Be part of a mission-driven team dedicated to national security, working on cutting-edge technologies in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead RF architecture trades and design activities
Perform RF system calibration activities
Lead RF troubleshooting and failure investigation
Assist in generating requirements and verification plans for RF systems
Work in a team environment to support system development and sustainment
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
Experience with RF electronics design and/or RF antennas
Active and transferable US government issued Secret security clearance
US citizenship
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of calibration/characterization of RF signal generation systems
Strong organization, coordination, planning, and communication skills
Existing Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) clearance
Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
Experience with programming languages such as Java, C, C++
Experience with test equipment like oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers
