Key Responsibilities
Greet and welcome patients in person
Collect demographic and insurance information
Check in and interview patients to complete paperwork
Direct patients to their appointments
Assist in scheduling add-on appointments
Document issues and resolutions in electronic medical records
Resolve claim issues or registration errors
Verify insurance eligibility and benefits information
Collect co-pays or deductibles and respond to questions
Assist patients with financial assistance applications
Provide customer service for inbound and outbound calls
Mentor other staff as needed
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
6+ months of customer service experience in healthcare or similar settings
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office
Ability to work standard daytime hours for the first 3 weeks of training
Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday starting between 6:00am – 9:00am
Ability to work every other weekend
Must be 18 years of age or older
