Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab (Travel Assignment)
Location– White Plains, NY
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day/Evening, 4x10s
Guaranteed Hours: 38 per week

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse—Cardiac Cath Lab for a 13-week assignment. The RN will provide direct care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, working closely with cardiologists and the Cath Lab team. This role requires strong technical skills, the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, and confidence in managing complex cardiovascular patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stent placement, and other interventional procedures .
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures.
• Administer medications, including conscious sedation, under physician direction.
• Assist physicians and technologists during procedures, ensuring sterile technique.
• Prepare and maintain specialized equipment used in the Cath Lab.
• Respond effectively to cardiac emergencies within the unit.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN New York State license
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience .
• Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA).
• RCIS certification (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) required.
• Strong ability to respond to acute cardiovascular events.
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred.

• Parking: Minimum $1.25/hour fee.
