Key Responsibilities
Perform inspection, diagnosis, preventative maintenance, and repair on diesel heavy trucks and engines
Utilize diagnostic software to interpret failure modes and initiate repairs
Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards
Be available for on-call emergencies and assist with breakdowns
Required Qualifications
3+ years’ experience working as a heavy-duty Diesel Mechanic
Valid driver’s license
Experience with heavy duty diesel equipment or training from a recognized trade school
Ability to speak and read English proficiently
Preferred Qualifications
Hydraulics experience
Experience with diagnostic software such as Premium Tech Tool (Mack), Allison transmission, Cummins, Peterbilt, and Paccar
CDL preferred
Working knowledge of applicable DOT and OSHA standards
