Job Description
Join Zen Educate as a Classroom Aide to make a meaningful impact by supporting students with specialized needs. You will work in SPED classrooms, assisting with behavioral support, classroom management, and personal care, all while fostering a nurturing learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) or Individualized Education Plan (IEPs)
Provide one-on-one or small group support using positive reinforcement and de-escalation strategies
Collaborate with teachers to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
Work closely with teachers, parents, and staff for effective support
Support with personal care or hygiene as needed
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma
Experience supporting individuals with Special Educational Needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to stay calm and patient in challenging situations
English proficiency
U.S. work authorization
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Special Education, particularly with moderate to severe behaviors
ABA Therapy
Behaviour Technician Experience
Knowledge of behavioral intervention strategies
CPR and First Aid
CPI or Pro Act Training
