Job Description
Join BJ's Wholesale Club as an Entry Level Optical Specialist, where you'll dispense optical products and provide exceptional service to our members. Collaborate in a supportive environment focused on growth and member satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Dispensing spectacles and optical products to patients
Advising patients on lens and frame selection
Verifying order data entry and accuracy
Providing excellent Member service in person and over the phone
Taking measurements and reading prescriptions
Educating patients on product benefits
Assisting Optical Manager with opening and closing procedures
Ensuring compliance with club policies and procedures
Required Qualifications
Must be licensed to work as an optician within the State
Strong interpersonal skills
Organizational skills
Attention to detail
Open shift availability
At least 18 years of age
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of optical products and business practices
High school diploma, college degree, and/or big box wholesale, retail, and/or optical experience
