Key Responsibilities
Assist in design of electrical projects and install electrical equipment
Coordinate with other workers for equipment installation and maintenance
Consult with operators, supervisors, and engineers for equipment layout and problem resolution
Study blueprints and schematics to determine installation procedures
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks
Inspect industrial equipment for proper assembly and defects
Maintain equipment logs and communicate with management regarding equipment hazards
Work extended shifts and be flexible with changing priorities
Follow safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe work environment
Required Qualifications
Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Must be 18 years or older
Physical ability to perform job duties including bending/stooping, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Ability to work in extreme heat or cold
Ability to work in elevated areas
Must be able to operate machinery
Must be able to read/write English
High School diploma or Equivalent
Basic computer skills
Ability to work overtime
Ability to work holidays, nights, weekends or different shifts
Must be able to perform electrical maintenance trade
Experience with blueprints, schematics, manuals, and necessary mathematical knowledge
Must have a high degree of mechanical aptitude
Demonstrated ability to perform basic mathematical functions
Must be willing and able to work in inclement conditions and extreme temperatures
Must have very good time management skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with wiring and programming Allen Bradley Programmable Logic Controllers
Experience using electrical test equipment for analysis and troubleshooting
Knowledge of the National Electric Code
Mechanical aptitude to work from blueprints and maintenance manuals
Apprentice, Journeyman or above license with the state of Nebraska or equivalent
A 2-year degree in electromechanical, electrical system, or equivalent
