Key Responsibilities
Provide front and back-office support as a float Patient Care Coordinator/Scheduler
Answer phone calls from multiple queues
Provide high level of customer service
Review and process prior authorization requests
Verify patient insurance eligibility & benefits
Collect insurance information and intakes for new patients
Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments
Prepare exam rooms for patients
Document patient encounters in Epic
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
3+ years of customer service experience
1+ years of medical front office or surgery scheduling experience
1+ years of basic computer software experience
1+ years experience as an MA-R or an MA-C
Preferred Qualifications
Surgery scheduling experience
EPIC experience
Prior authorization experience
