Job Description
As a Material Management Specialist at Monmouth Medical Center, you will manage procurement and inventory for emergency services while ensuring vendor performance and safety compliance. Join our team to make an impactful difference in healthcare operations.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement activities with emphasis on effective inventory management
Serve as primary contact for vendors regarding performance and issue resolution
Report identified safety issues and medical errors
Arrange for repairs and replacements of defective items
Conduct vendor interviews to audit performance and resolve issues
Ensure timely procurement of all supplies and equipment for emergency services
Manage inventory levels and monitor par levels for departments
Track budget and manage reporting
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Three to five years Emergency Services/Materials management experience
Three to five years purchasing, data collection and reporting experience
Preferred Qualifications
BA/BS degree
