Details:

• Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hr shifts)

• Hours: 36 hrs/week guaranteed

• Weekends: Every other weekend

• Holidays: As needed

• On Call: None

• Setting: Custodial unit, lower acuity. Ratios may be up to 9:1 – must be comfortable caring for this patient population.

Patient Population: Adult–Geriatric
EMR: Epic

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate total nursing care for patients

• Participate in patient and family teaching

• Provide leadership and collaboration with ancillary staff to maintain professional nursing standards

• Float as needed (higher patient ratio, lower acuity units)

Requirements:

• 2+ years Med Surg experience

• EPIC experience required

• Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
