Job Description
Join SCIEX as an Associate Hardware Scientist and drive innovation in mass spectrometry technologies. Collaborate with senior scientists to develop novel methodologies and improve customer workflows, while contributing to impactful research projects.
Key Responsibilities
Enable the testing and development of novel hardware
Define methodologies to verify or validate hardware/software
Drive innovation by generating novel ideas
Implement opportunities for product improvement
Contribute to on-time delivery of research projects
Required Qualifications
Higher level Science degree in a related field (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, etc.)
Broad knowledge of instrument control, machine learning, and software development
Proven publication record in enabling novel instrumentation
Experience with analytical instrumentation
Preferred Qualifications
Experience implementing AI / ML algorithms
Ability to work independently
Track record of innovation and patent generation
