Job Title: Registered Nurse – Endoscopy

Location: Herrin, IL
Type: Full-Time (36 Guaranteed Hours/Week)
Duration: 13 Week
Schedule:

• Hours: 07:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• Call Requirements: Up to 2 weeknights and 2 weekend days per month, with a 45-minute callback time
• Floating: Must be willing to float to other facilities within the organization as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Active Illinois RN License – Must be current and in good standing
• Current BLS/CPR Certification

Experience Requirements:

• Proven experience in Endoscopy Nursing
• Proficient in the following procedures:
  • Colonoscopy
  • EGD
  • ERCP
  • PEG Tube
  • Bronchoscopy
  • Esophageal Stent
  • Pain Management Procedures
• Able to perform moderate sedation
• Experience with EPIC charting system
• Competent in perioperative care, including patient admission and discharge

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ mental, physical, and spiritual needs
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Provide clear education and instructions to patients and their caregivers
• Use sound clinical judgment to monitor and report changes in patient condition
• Foster a healthy work environment through effective, professional communication
• Ensure care aligns with Core Measure standards
• Maintain complete, accurate medical records
• Participate in continuing education and professional development
