Job Description
Join Optum as a Bilingual Patient Care Coordinator and make a difference in healthcare. You will support a dynamic healthcare team by managing patient interactions, maintaining records, and ensuring excellent service while working with state-of-the-art technology.
Key Responsibilities
Obtain patient signatures for required documents
File and maintain medical records
Answer telephone calls promptly and courteously
Participate in planning, coordinating, and implementing care
Ensure continuity of care through scheduling and tracking systems
Comply with administrative policies to ensure quality of care
Required Qualifications
1+ years of experience in a medical front office position
Bilingual in Spanish and English
Intermediate level of computer proficiency including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to work a flexible schedule and 40 hours a week
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Epic EMR software
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish
Access to reliable transportation
