Job Description
Join Carrier Global as an HVAC Maintenance Supervisor and play a critical role in ensuring customer comfort through expert HVAC installations and maintenance. This position offers opportunities for both independent and collaborative work, making a significant impact in the HVAC industry.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnosing mechanical and electrical malfunctions
Performing regularly scheduled maintenance on heating and cooling units
Installing, replacing, or repairing equipment
Assembling and installing metal ductwork
Assisting in planning and designing new installations
Providing estimates of materials required
Repairing and replacing damaged parts and equipment
Reading blueprints, floor plans, and wiring diagrams
Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with customers
Safely operating company vehicles, machinery, and equipment
Recognizing risks and safety hazards in HVAC operations
Participating in all required safety training
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years practical working experience in the HVAC Industry
High School Diploma/GED
Valid and current Driver's License
Ability to Push / Pull / Lift 50lbs
Must be able to stand, crawl, sit, squat for extended periods
Current union member or willing to join a union
Preferred Qualifications
Basic understanding of building automation controls
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
