Key Responsibilities
Operate & maintain various equipment in a wood production facility
Anticipate and diagnose problems, perform mechanical maintenance
Keep designated area clean and clear of safety hazards
Monitor stock inventories of tooling and heaters
Collaborate with suppliers on quality issues
Inspect equipment and report damage
Record operational data from meters and gauges
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years industrial experience
Ability to work within a team with minimal supervision
Maintain and adjust equipment to maximize production
Professional attitude and ability to work well with others
Promote a safe working environment
Perform good housekeeping in the facility
Use daily checklists, PM’s and Work Orders
Microsoft Office proficient
Mechanical tasks including bearing replacement, motor alignments
Basic rigging and welding knowledge
Multi-craft skills (electrical knowledge a plus)
Ability to work at heights
