Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Elizabethtown, New York.
Position: RN – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Facility: Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital, 341 beds, Level II Trauma Job Summary: Provides acute inpatient care for adult patients with cardiac and complex medical conditions, including ACS, post-PCI/stent, cardiac drips, insulin drips, hemodynamic monitoring, ETOH withdrawal, major vascular surgery, and advanced monitoring needs. Part of the Resource Float Team, rotating to appropriate units as needed. Requirements: Experience: Minimum 1 year telemetry/PCU experience Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (prior to start) EMR: Epic (within past 2 years) License: NY RN or proof of application Skills: Starting IVs, post-cardiac cath care, managing cardiac/insulin drips Shift & Schedule: Shift: 7a – 7p (rotation posted by facility) Weekends: Every other weekend required Holidays: As needed Assignment Length: 26–32 weeks Floating: Required to like units Additional Info: Travel rates: $100 standard, $95 (51–100 miles), $90 (≤50 miles) No block scheduling Reliable transportation required (personal or rental vehicle) All employment gaps >90 days must be explained
