Key Responsibilities
Develop Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs)
Provide technical input and peer review to engineering designs
Provide technical guidance to factory engineers
Apply manufacturing engineering skillsets to improve processes and product designs
Serve as the manufacturing authority within the program
Recommend process changes for cost, efficiency, and quality
Collaborate with multi-disciplined teams
Identify and resolve constraints across the program
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in STEM (preferably Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering)
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
Experience working in manufacturing production
Experience with manufacturing process development or improvement
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to identify and eliminate cost, quality, and schedule constraints
Technical drawing interpretation and proficiency with CAD tools (preferably CREO/ProE)
Hands-on mechanical aptitude
Experience with technical writing and interpreting technical drawings
Experience with MRP systems
Experience with Manufacturing Readiness Assessments
Current DoD security clearance (secret)
