Job Description

As a Customer Accounts Advisor at Aaron's, you will connect with customers to drive payment collections and renew leases while ensuring satisfaction with our products. This role involves both phone and face-to-face interactions, providing a unique opportunity to build lasting relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update customer accounts and information
  • Direct contact with customers for lease agreement renewals
  • Promote benefits of timely lease agreement payments
  • Assist Customer Account Manager with revenue and renewal goals
  • Handle merchandise returns and guest deliveries
  • Clean and certify returned merchandise
  • Complete vehicle maintenance and route sheets
  • Load and secure products in company vehicle
  • Safely operate company vehicle
  • Assist the Sales Team as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years old with a valid state Driver’s License (U.S.), 18 in Canada
  • Must meet DOT requirements to obtain certification in required states
  • Ability to work varying hours from 8 am to 9 pm
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without help and up to 300 lbs. with assistance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two years of retail/customer service experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • High energy and multitasking ability
  • Proper telephone etiquette
  • Maintain a professional appearance
  • Proficient computer skills
