Key Responsibilities
Perform inspection, diagnosis, and repair of diesel heavy trucks and engines
Conduct preventative maintenance and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems
Utilize diagnostic software to interpret failure modes and initiate repairs
Assist with emergency breakdowns as needed
Required Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age
Legally eligible to work in the United States
Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred
Experience with heavy duty diesel equipment or training from a recognized trade school
Ability to speak and read English proficiently
Meet physical and safety requirements of the position
Must provide own tools
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years experience as a heavy duty Diesel Mechanic
Experience with DPF systems and diagnostic software
Working knowledge of DOT and OSHA standards and regulations
