Job Description

Join Mercy as a Behavioral Health Associate and make a meaningful impact on patient care. In this full-time role, you'll assist in delivering individualized care to help patients achieve their highest level of physical and mental wellness while working in a supportive healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform designated clinical procedures and non-clinical support tasks essential to nursing care
  • Assist in unit operational support tasks or duties
  • Utilize medical equipment including electronic vital signs machines and EKG
  • Assist with crisis situations utilizing de-escalation techniques
  • Observe patients to ensure a safe environment

Required Qualifications

  • Successful completion of a High School Diploma
  • Nurse Assistant training course

Preferred Qualifications

  • Behavioral Health experience
  • Psych experience
  • Direct Support Professional experience
