Join Raytheon as a Manufacturing Engineer I, where you'll develop and enhance manufacturing processes while collaborating with teams to solve complex challenges. You'll be instrumental in driving continuous improvements and ensuring the manufacturing process meets high standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Develop Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs)
Support daily manufacturing areas with process troubleshooting
Disposition non-conforming material with root cause analysis
Drive Continuous Improvement using Six Sigma principles
Provide real-time technical support to manufacturers
Develop tools/fixtures to improve ergonomics
Lead corrective action investigations
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
Less than 2 years prior relevant experience
Ability to obtain and maintain ATF clearance
U.S. citizenship required
Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. government issued security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent organizational skills
Knowledge of CORE principles and techniques
Technical drawing interpretation, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Proficiency with CAD solid modeling tools (preferably CREO/ProE)
Demonstrated hands-on mechanical aptitude
Innovative mindset for continuous improvement
Ability to work in a team environment
Strong organization skills
Proven written and oral communication skills
Current DoD security clearance (secret)
Experience with automated tooling and programming
Experience with Government Furnished Material (GFM) or Equipment (GFE)
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
