Job Details:
• Work 5x8 day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (40 hours per week)
• Call responsibilities required • 2 years of interventional radiology experience required • First-time travelers accepted • 12 hours of orientation provided • Required certifications: ARRT R, Maryland State License • Preferred certifications: ARRT VI • Use Cerner charting system • Scrubs provided by facility • Work with adult and geriatric patient populations • Daily census of 110 patients with approximately 12 visits per day • Work in 2-room interventional radiology department • Required skills include interventional radiology procedures, special procedures, angioplasty, IVC filter placement/removal, fluoroscopy, Siemens equipment operation, access site preparation, scrubbing and maintaining sterile field, and sterile technique • Preferred skills include various advanced procedures such as embolization, stent placement, EVAR/TEVAR, catheter exchanges, and vascular closure systems • Must be proficient in EKG lead placement and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias • Experience with isolation precautions and rapid response teams requiredFacility:
