Key Responsibilities
Facilitate student-led discourse on historical topics
Guide students in understanding author's claims and sourcing
Teach a curriculum prioritizing diverse histories
Build an inclusive and safe environment for discussions
Analyze student work samples and assessments with principal or instructional coach
Develop positive relationships with students and families
Participate in professional development and school-wide meetings
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
1-2 years of experience impacting K-12 students in urban schools (preferred)
Academic expertise in Education, History, Geography, Political Science, Criminal Justice, Social Sciences, or Humanities
Commitment to supporting students’ social emotional and academic development
