RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Holidays and every other weekend required
• Block scheduling approved
• Guaranteed 72 or 96 hours bi-weekly
• Call requirements are voluntary
• 13-week assignment duration
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Dress code: Navy scrubs
• EMR system: Cerner
• Floating to other units required
• Must be greater than 50 miles from facility (local candidates not accepted)
• Care for higher med-surg acuity patients with diagnoses including stroke, seizures, post-op neuro/spinal surgeries, level 2 trauma patients, and level 1 trauma post-ICU care
• Manage patients with conditions such as DKA, renal failure, and general post-operative care
• Patient ratio: 1:5 to 1:6
• Unit has 24 beds
• Required skills include expertise in neuro assessments, critical thinking, drain management, post-surgical care, chest tube care, and groin site management post-IR
• Must attach required license and certifications or submission will be rejected
