Job Description

As a Manufacturing Engineer I at Raytheon, you'll develop and improve manufacturing processes, collaborating with teams to analyze product specifications and implement solutions. This role emphasizes continuous improvement and technical support in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs)
  • Support daily manufacturing with process troubleshooting
  • Disposition non-conforming material and conduct root cause analysis
  • Drive continuous improvement using Six Sigma principles
  • Provide real-time technical support to manufacturers and suppliers
  • Develop tools/fixtures for ergonomic processes
  • Lead corrective action investigations

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Less than 2 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain ATF clearance
  • U.S. citizenship required for security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Knowledge of CORE principles and techniques
  • Technical drawing interpretation and GD&T
  • Proficiency with CAD solid modeling tools (CREO/ProE preferred)
  • Demonstrated hands-on mechanical aptitude
  • Innovative mindset for continuous improvement
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Current DoD security clearance (secret)
  • Experience with automated tooling and programming
  • Experience with GFM or GFE processing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
