Job Description

Join Hertz as a Facilities Maintenance Technician and play a crucial role in maintaining the equipment and systems at our airport car rental locations. You'll ensure the smooth operation of our facilities, respond to emergencies, and work with a team to uphold high maintenance standards, all while enjoying competitive benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond quickly to emergency situations
  • Coordinate and perform preventive maintenance tasks
  • Perform minor construction as directed
  • Record and maintain CMMS data
  • Monitor service providers
  • Ensure maintenance standards are met
  • Manage ongoing maintenance standards and quality
  • Support asset assessment programs
  • Report facilities programs and issues

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of four years in a similar or related role
  • Building and grounds general maintenance experience
  • Understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, car washes, vacuum systems, and fuel stations
  • Construction, repair, and maintenance skills
  • Computerized Maintenance Management Systems knowledge
  • PC skills (email, Word, Excel)
  • Effective communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with service providers
  • Knowledge of environmental considerations
