Join MasTec Civil, LLC as a Project Engineer and play a crucial role in ensuring construction compliance with safety regulations and engineering standards. You'll collaborate with teams to resolve challenges, manage project documentation, and contribute to the successful completion of complex transportation projects.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure that construction crews comply with all OSHA regulations and company safety policies
Review Project Contracts, Plans and Specifications in their entirety
Prepare Project Schedule and monthly updates
Prepare quantity reporting, project costs cash flow projections and forecasting
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers and workforce to resolve project challenges, conflicts, and/or technical issues
Prepare and submit Prime and Subcontractor Change Orders
Manage document control to include submittal schedules, contract documents, project record drawings
Prepare and maintain technical submittal list, NPDES permits, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan
Comply with notice requirements such as inspections and utility locations
Issue correspondence to subcontractors and vendors when revised plans/specifications affect products/services
Assist with project closeout
Perform additional assignments per the Project Manager's direction
Required Qualifications
B.S. in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Construction Engineering and Management
4 or more years' experience in the civil construction field (office/field role)
