Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise all employees reporting to the service center
  • Plan daily manpower needs for timely freight delivery and pick up
  • Provide information to employees about productivity and policies
  • Research and implement cost-cutting and efficiency improvement measures
  • Maintain clean and safe working conditions
  • Comply with applicable laws and company policies

Required Qualifications

  • 5 years of supervisory experience
  • Thorough knowledge of the Less-than-Truckload (LTL) industry
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work various shifts

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4 years of related work experience or equivalent military experience
  • Experience with process improvement using Lean and/or Six Sigma
  • Forklift experience
  • Solid analytical skills
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, presentation, and administrative skills
