Job Description
As a Speech Language Pathologist at ECHN, you will provide vital treatments to improve or restore patients' functions. You will work within an interdisciplinary team to educate the community and assist in clinical education for students.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluates patients based on departmental standards.
Conducts and modifies evaluations based on the patient's symptoms and medical status.
Treats patients with appropriate therapeutic techniques.
Administers physical agents and manual therapeutic techniques.
Educates patients and families in home exercise programs.
Documents in accordance with insurance guidelines.
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited program of Speech Language Pathology with a minimum of a M.S.
Holds or is eligible for current Connecticut license.
Eligible or has a Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association.
Valid driver's license for occasional travel between ECHN business sites.
