Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room (OR)

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Operating Room team at a Level 1 Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will have strong perioperative skills, particularly in both scrub and circulate roles, and experience in a variety of surgical specialties.

Requirements:

• Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years recent acute care experience in the OR required
  • Required experience in Level 1 Trauma cases
  • Strong scrub and circulate skills mandatory
  • Experience in Orthopedics, Orthopedic Trauma, Vascular, Urology, and General Surgery required
  • Preferred experience in Neurosurgery (crani and spine), Open Heart/Thoracic, Ophthalmology, ENT, Bariatric, and Gynecology
• Certifications:
  • BLS (American Heart Association) required
  • CNOR certification preferred but not required
• Licensure:
  • Active Illinois RN license required (no pending licenses accepted)
• Additional Info:
  • COVID-19 vaccination required (no exemptions)
  • Flu vaccination required
