Lincoln Electric seeks a Plant Mechanical Engineer to support its Plant Engineering department by designing, maintaining, and improving manufacturing processes. This role involves solving technical challenges while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, contributing to the sustainability and growth of operations.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate in a team environment to execute capital projects
Take responsibility for the mechanical aspects of projects
Develop engineering solutions to improve equipment reliability and safety
Create and maintain sustainable documentation
Design solutions that comply with ISO 14001 and EHS initiatives
Provide capital cost estimates and establish project timelines
Deliver technical support to the Production and Maintenance departments
Coordinate with process engineering, production, maintenance, and supply management teams
Work closely with outside engineering and construction personnel
Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental regulations
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
3+ years' experience for level II Engineer
5+ years' experience for level III Engineer
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Strong desire to take ownership of tasks and deliver results
Demonstrates good judgment and self-motivation
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively
Preferred Qualifications
Technically proficient in CAD modeling (Solid Edge, AutoCAD)
Willingness to occasionally work off shifts and travel between facilities
