Key Responsibilities
Supervises and mentors nursing and support staff during assigned shift
Determines staffing levels and assignments based on staff availability and patient acuity
Provides direct patient care as needed
Collaborates with staff to identify solution-oriented problems
Facilitates a positive patient experience
Evaluates the effectiveness of patient care
Ensures staff has necessary equipment and supplies
Fosters an environment that encourages professional growth
Communicates effectively with various audiences
Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards
Required Qualifications
Graduate of Program in Discipline required
Current RN NV License upon hire
Minimum of one (1) year working in an acute hospital setting
Preferred Qualifications
BSN preferred
American Heart Association (AHA) BLS, ACLS, and PALS preferred upon hire
