Job Description

Join Capital One as a Senior Manager in the PCI team, where you'll lead high-profile projects and teams to develop cutting-edge solutions for Cyber's stability. You'll work collaboratively across the enterprise to implement innovative strategies that safeguard cardholder data and mitigate risks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive development of PCI-enablement strategy tied to PCI DSS requirements
  • Spearhead strategic initiatives and communication to Cyber leadership
  • Ensure strategy for safeguarding cardholder data meets PCI DSS requirements
  • Identify PCI controls and monitoring needed for the Enterprise
  • Stay updated on developments in PCI policies and standards
  • Develop an engagement model between Cyber and PCI stakeholders
  • Support innovation through process improvements and automation
  • Support or lead ad hoc projects related to Cyber's Data Strategy
  • Empower and guide the PCI Team to accomplish Cyber's strategy
  • Maintain broad understanding of technologies used by financial institutions

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
  • At least 6 years of experience in project management
  • At least 6 years of people leadership experience
  • At least 5 years of experience with Payment Card Industry security or in information security
  • At least 5 years of experience in technical IT compliance or risk management
  • At least 5 years of experience executing enterprise-level cross-functional programs
  • At least 3 years experience in consulting or supporting internal business customers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 7+ years of Project Management experience
  • 6+ years experience with the payment card industry data security standard
  • 5+ years of data protection experience
  • 2+ years experience at or supporting a financial services institution
  • 2+ years experience with Amazon Web Services technologies
  • 2+ years of experience with governance, risk and compliance technologies
  • 1+ years of Jira and Confluence experience
  • 1 or more professional certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CIPP, CDPSE, QSA, ISA, AWS Certified Security - Specialty)
