Job Description

MassMutual is seeking an experienced Head of Change Management to lead the evolution of project-related change management practices. This strategic role will enhance change readiness and enable successful implementation of major business initiatives, driving high engagement and adoption across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Change Management Team for Corporate Function project portfolio
  • Determine and implement change management strategy for projects
  • Evangelize Change Management’s mission and vision
  • Facilitate a Change Management Center of Excellence
  • Align change management practices with overall business strategy
  • Define and own standards for change management processes
  • Engage Corporate Function leaders and project sponsors for coaching and training
  • Enforce quality control and accountability for change management standards

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of experience leading large strategic or transformational changes in large, complex financial services companies
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills
  • Well-versed in Change Management methodologies, tools, and best practices
  • Exceptional leadership and influence capabilities
  • Strong facilitation and training skills
  • Ability to manage a team of change resources
  • Committed to visible, active participation in the Project Management process

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years focused on change management discipline in insurance, wealth management and distribution
  • Prosci certification or equivalent
  • Agile/Waterfall project management experience
  • Knowledge of best practices related to communications, training, and user engagement
