Key Responsibilities
Examine, diagnose, consult, and prescribe treatment courses
Perform surgeries for Soldiers, retirees, and their family members
Participate in continued education programs, trainings, seminars, and conferences
Required Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from an accredited U.S. school
Current license to practice medicine in the U.S., D.C., or Puerto Rico
Eligibility for board certification
Completion of at least one year of approved Graduate Medical Education internship
Completion of a training program in general surgery
U.S. citizenship for Active Duty service
Permanent U.S. residency for Army Reserve
